In case you missed it, there’s a taco debate happening in Texas. In February, Austin Mayor Steve Adler declared a “taco war” on San Antonio. In the context of Kentucky, you can imagine this Austin-San Antonio rivalry as akin to Louisville-Lexington. Fortunately, the two mayors have agreed to come together for a taco summit to settle their differences.
The lesson: tacos can unite communities and also divide them. But, then, unite them again.
