A former colleague of mine at Queens College of the City University of New York shared the taco literacy research of Christina Cardona writing for QC Voices. She wrote two posts titled”Let’s Taco ’bout It” and “Lets Taco ’bout It Again“about tacos in Queens. Cadrona’s writing about las comidas mexicanas in NY that demonstrate that taco literacy was already viral before our class. Taco literacy in Queens, now that would be a serious learning adventure.
